Mechanical engineering is one of the oldest and most broad engineering fields. The fundamentals of classical mechanics, engineering statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, fundamental electrical engineering, and material science are all covered by mechanical engineering. Mechanical engineers then apply this knowledge to the design, analysis, and control of a wide range of technologies, which would include manufacturing systems, heat transfer systems, automobiles, aircraft, cruise ships, robotics, and medical equipment.
